Instant BOOB Job

This was the second layout I ever created, and it is very memorable for me in more ways than one.

Firstly, the photos were taken at my Mum's 60th birthday party ... and as I hate getting my photo taken, to get so many is, in itself, something of an accomplishment. I liked the photos and thought they captured the fun and games that went on at the party so decided to create the layout. And I had a ball creating it. Just please don't ask me who all the pieces are by as I created this layout ages ago.

The second reason that made this so memorable to me ... it got BANNED!!

I'd posted the layout into my album on a very well-known digital scrap site where I am a member and within 10 minutes of me posting it ... it was removed. The reason ... it may offend some of their members.

Well, this is MY blog and I'll post what I like. So here it is ... the forbidden picture. Think it deserved a ban?

Someone had fun with my photos - yay!!

As I said in my first post, I took part in a chat'n'swap at Digi By Design and I received THIS smashing layout back in the exchange. Thanks mackk - it's lovely ... and goes so well with the layout I posted for the Treasure Hunt yesterday.

A busy weekend on the DST Treasure Hunt

Oh I had so much fun the last two or three days ... taking part in the Trash To Treasures treasure hunt on digishoptalk. I ended up with close to 4Gb worth of extra scrapbook supplies on my hard drive and went so many new places that I want to go back for a second look at. So - thank you ladies - it was a blast!

Anyway, the last part of the treasure hunt was to create a layout using some of the treasures that we found and get it posted up onto DST before 6pm (EST) to be entered into a draw for a whole boat load of stash.

Here's the one I created:

Getting Started is the hard part :D

Ok - so the thing is still not perfect but I did have an attempt at creating my own blog banner. I still want to do some work with the rest of the template but have decided to go ahead and start putting some stuff onto my blog.

Apart from doing some bits and pieces in Photoshop, I have also just finished a new layout for a friend of mine, becky, and although I was original rather flummoxed at what to do with it, I was really rather pleased with the way it turned out. Here's What I created:

Now if I can just figure out how to put the layout credits up - we'll be cooking on gas LOL.

Oh, and while I remember, you really need to check out Becky's Blog because she has some really cool freebies there just begging to be used.
